A story of love(s) and design

La Niche Rebelle was born from a somewhat crazy mix: two great passions and a small talent, apparently, for making places warmer, more welcoming, more alive.

On one hand, there's a love of dogs , these loyal companions who are part of the family and deserve their own special place. On the other, a true passion for interior design , beautiful materials, clean lines, and atmospheres that tell a story. And between the two, a simple conviction: you can love your dog without sacrificing the aesthetics of your home.

This is how La Niche Rebelle came about: a slightly offbeat name for a project that embraces its originality.

We create niche furniture to enhance your interior: bench or corner unit depending on the need, each one houses a real cocoon for your dog.

Our niches are also designed for all hospitality professionals (hotels, coworking spaces, shops, senior residences, etc.)

At La Niche Rebelle, we believe it is possible to make beautiful, innovative furniture with style and locally.

That's why our furniture is designed in Switzerland and made in France , using durable, high-quality materials suitable for our canine companions . Chic design, meticulous finishes, short supply chains: we prioritize people, expertise, and common sense. Supporting local employment has been a given from the start.

Our pieces combine timeless design and touches of color to liven up interiors because functionality should rhyme with cheerfulness, and the comfort of our dogs deserves as much attention as our decor.

• The niches are created from panels manufactured in France (in the Landes and Vosges regions). These panels are made from reclaimed wood into aesthetically pleasing, durable, and robust materials. With these panels, the wood is given a second, renewable, and sustainable life, sourced from short supply chains (the wood is recovered within a 150 km radius of the production centers).
• Our cushions are made in Portugal. They combine comfort, thanks to their medium-firm foam, and practicality with a high-quality, easy-clean, breathable fabric suitable for pets. The fabric (removable cover), while very attractive and high-quality, can be washed at 30°C. However, tumble drying is not recommended.
